Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Overview

We are seeking a distinguished Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join a globally operating, private equity-backed multinational company based in South Hertfordshire. This senior role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and partners closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Key Responsibilities

This is a strategic leadership position focused on elevating the FP&A function beyond traditional reporting. Responsibilities include guiding commercial decision-making, spearheading strategic planning, overseeing forecasting processes, and optimizing organizational performance. You will transform FP&A into a value-generating operation that influences investment choices, growth strategy, and operational excellence while creating and leading a top-tier FP&A team and developing an advanced FP&A operating model.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The role requires an accomplished FP&A leader with experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, or business-to-business (B2B) industries. Candidates must have a proven record of building or revamping group-level FP&A frameworks and must be capable of engaging effectively with board and executive leadership.

Additional Information

This position includes international travel and offers a competitive salary range between 160,000 and 180,000 annually, supplemented by bonus opportunities and long-term incentive plans (LTIPs).
