Role Overview
The organization is seeking a forward-looking Director of Finance to own and influence its financial direction. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the CFO where applicable, this senior leadership position is central to improving profitability, supporting scalable growth, and providing high-level financial guidance. The successful candidate will bring strong financial expertise together with commercial judgment to inform key business decisions and advance long-term organizational performance.
Key Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial finance role is expected.
- Professional credentials such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are considered a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical ability, numerical fluency, critical thinking, and a sharp eye for detail are important.
- Proven leadership ability, along with excellent spoken and written communication skills, is needed.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the main financial advisor to the CEO and leadership team, helping shape strategic choices and long-range plans.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance, while maintaining reliable systems for tracking revenue and costs.
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle and build dependable forecasts that support business planning, while monitoring budgets and explaining material variances.
- Ensure full compliance with tax and reporting obligations in the United States and in international jurisdictions including India, Ireland, Singapore, the Philippines, and Canada, and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Manage investment decisions and insurance coverage to reduce exposure to risk and support profitable growth.
- Continuously review and improve finance processes across the organization, including receivables, payables, cash management, and procurement efficiency.
