  • Engage in regional strategic planning, resource forecasting, and operational standardization to support growth goals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks early through effective quality control, corrective actions, and escalation protocols.

Qualifications

  • Over 20 years of progressive leadership in heavy-civil, self-perform construction with responsibility over multiple projects and teams.
  • Expertise in earthwork, mass grading, and wet utility installation including stormwater, sanitary, and potable water systems.
  • Proven experience interfacing effectively with GCs, developers, and owners during all project phases: pursuits, preconstruction, and execution.
  • Strong proficiency in construction documents, phasing plans, permitting, and field management tools like Procore.
  • Robust safety leadership, preferably with OSHA 30/500 certifications.
  • Operational knowledge of construction scheduling software and ability to interpret civil engineering plans and profiles.
  • Established experience managing growth including workforce planning, resource forecasting, and organizational development.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and change management skills.
  • Based in Columbus, Ohio, with the willingness to travel throughout the Midwest.
  • Experience in mission-critical data center or large industrial site development projects is highly preferred.

Performance Metrics

  • Maintaining low Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR).

  • 401(k) plan with employer matching up to 6%, fully vested on the first day.
