Position Overview

The Director of Culture, Engagement, and Experience is charged with cultivating Apollo's organizational culture and enhancing the employee experience. By closely collaborating with executive leadership, this role crafts ongoing strategies to engage employees throughout every stage of their journey—from onboarding and development to recognition and career progression. The director champions Apollo's values and mission, creating impactful programs that boost employee connection, belonging, and alignment with company goals. Acting as the culture steward, the role synthesizes employee feedback into actionable initiatives benefiting organizational effectiveness. It also guides the alignment of internal culture with the client-facing experience, ensuring consistency in values both inside and outside Apollo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute culture strategy aligned with Apollo's mission, vision, and expansion plans.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to nurture organizational culture and reinforce core values.
  • Design and administer engagement initiatives enhancing pride, commitment, and inclusivity.
  • Implement and monitor employee surveys and feedback loops to gather insights and recommend improvements.
  • Map and refine the employee lifecycle touchpoints with HR and leadership for elevated experience.
  • Create and sustain recognition programs celebrating individual and team accomplishments, scalable for growth.
  • Lead internal communication efforts ensuring team members stay informed and engaged with consistent messaging.
  • Align cultural efforts with client experience to advance professionalism, integrity, and service excellence.
  • Collaborate on talent review processes, identify high-potential employees, and support succession planning and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum seven years' experience leading culture, engagement, or employee experience initiatives, including exposure to executive leadership collaboration.
  • Proven skills in analyzing and translating employee feedback into impactful programs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder relationship management capabilities.
  • Preferred credentials include experience with dispersed teams, employee engagement, customer experience strategy, organizational development, and leadership cultivation in fast-growing environments.
  • Certifications in relevant HR or organizational development fields are advantageous.
