Position Summary
This part-time, remote Director of Corporate Strategy role focuses on leading the formulation and execution of the company's strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include crafting corporate and business unit strategies, conducting market research and competitive analysis, and guiding long-term planning processes. The incumbent evaluates potential business ventures, supports corporate development projects, and partners with senior leaders on strategic priorities and investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of corporate and business unit strategies.
- Perform market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Assess new business opportunities and support mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with leadership on corporate development and investment priorities.
- Monitor financial performance to identify growth and operational efficiency prospects.
- Produce clear strategic recommendations and presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally to align strategy with operational execution and client objectives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in business planning including long-term strategy formulation, budgeting, and scenario modeling.
- Expertise in corporate development, assessing strategic investments, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Solid foundation in finance, understanding financial statements and capital allocation principles.
- Relevant consulting or advisory experience with a history of leading strategic initiatives and influencing senior leadership.
- Prior work in asset management, wealth management, financial services, or related industries is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, proficient in delivering complex information clearly to executive audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote part-time capacity, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Advanced academic credentials such as an MBA or equivalent professional qualification in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
