Chartbeat Inc. is the parent company of Chartbeat, Tubular Labs, FatTail, and Lineup Systems, collectively shaping the future of media strategy and revenue. Trusted by leading media brands worldwide, we provide analytics for smarter audience strategies coupled with revenue solutions to streamline ad operations and accelerate monetization.

We are committed to helping customers build valuable media brands through outstanding content. Our team is composed of diverse, dedicated professionals passionate about meaningful work and preserving work-life balance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, data-centric Director of Content Marketing to lead and enhance our global content initiatives across all four brands: Chartbeat, Tubular Labs, Lineup Systems, and FatTail. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will design and implement a cohesive enterprise-level content plan that strengthens our market presence, educates media executives, and drives organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a unified content marketing strategy across all brands, ensuring that editorial calendars align with revenue objectives and core brand values.
  • Lead, cultivate, and expand a team of talented writers, strategists, and designers to create diverse content assets including benchmark reports, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, videos, and infographics.
  • Utilize extensive proprietary datasets across web analytics, social video, and ad revenue to craft compelling, research-driven narratives and industry thought leadership.
  • Build and execute content programs designed to generate demand, including both gated and ungated materials that facilitate lead capture, shorten sales cycles, and promote customer retention.
  • Oversee SEO and AI optimization strategies to enhance organic search rankings and content discoverability while maximizing distribution across social media, email, and media syndication platforms.
  • Define precise buyer personas within editorial, revenue, and executive audiences to tailor messaging and address specific challenges across various media sectors.
  • Monitor content performance indicators such as organic traffic, engagement levels, marketing qualified leads, and pipeline contributions; continually refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Coordinate closely with Brand & Communications, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to maintain consistent messaging supporting go-to-market efforts and product launches.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of content marketing experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or digital media.
  • At least 3 years managing and mentoring teams, guiding writers and content strategists.
  • Proven expertise managing content operations across several brands or product lines.
  • Ability to translate complex datasets and technical media topics into engaging, narrative-focused content.
  • Success utilizing content marketing to generate leads and contribute to sales pipeline growth.
  • Strong knowledge of content distribution strategies, SEO practices, and full-funnel marketing approaches.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), CMS platforms (preferably Webflow), and SEO analytics (e.g., SEMrush).
  • Deep understanding of digital publishing, video analytics, or digital advertising sectors.
  • Excellent editorial skills, including writing, copyediting, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
  • Strong project management skills demonstrated in managing multi-channel editorial calendars in dynamic environments.
  • History of collaborating with Product Marketing and PR teams to successfully launch products and brand campaigns.
  • Analytical approach with experience designing dashboards, tracking marketing ROI, and communicating metrics to executives.
  • Adaptable, growth-focused leader who functions effectively as both strategist and executive editor.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Standard Life pension program for UK-based employees.
  • Fully paid parental leave: 18 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.
  • Phone and internet allowances.
  • Reimbursements for wellness, learning, and coworking expenses.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 25 days annual vacation for full-time UK employees.
  • 11 paid holidays plus December holiday closure.
  • Company-wide annual in-person event.
  • Annual compensation range: $170,000 to $180,000.
