Role Overview
The Consumer, Channel & Customer Marketing (CCCM) Director will oversee Jamaica and Partnership Markets' complete demand generation process, aligning with Campari Group's strategic priorities and brand portfolio objectives. This leadership role is crucial in crafting brand strategies, communications, shopper conversion tactics, customer engagement, and innovation pipelines. It integrates consumer insights, digital media, customer and channel marketing, experiential activations, and market partnerships to achieve significant and measurable growth.
Key Objectives
- Establish JWN as a regional leader in brand building, communications, experiential marketing, and customer engagement.
- Drive integrated marketing strategies for consumer, channel, and customer marketing aligned with global business goals across Jamaica and Partnership Markets.
- Motivate teams to achieve defined KPIs related to brand presence, communications, channel management, and experiential plans.
- Ensure optimal allocation of advertising and promotional budgets with a strict focus on return on investment.
- Develop and maintain long-term brand equity and relevance across diverse markets.
- Create and support a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive marketing team.
Main Responsibilities
- Translate and localize global and House of Brands strategies into actionable, insight-driven annual plans.
- Lead approval and supervision of brand strategies and yearly plans for the domestic portfolio.
- Manage advertising and promotional spending to maximize ROI and meet NSV (Net Sales Value) and equity targets.
- Direct communication strategies across media, digital platforms, and public relations, embodying Campari's authentic and elegant brand voice.
- Oversee data-driven insights and analytics to spur innovation and informed decision-making.
- Manage relationships with agencies, ensuring clear deliverables and responsibilities.
- Define channel strategies for On-Trade, Off-Trade, and Wholesale/Retail sectors collaboratively with Sales teams.
- Develop shopper activation programs and trade initiatives that convert consumer demand effectively at purchase points.
- Lead experiential marketing activations, including consumer events, bartender training, and brand experiences within the Jamaica and Partnership markets, maintaining ROI discipline and brand alignment.
- Design growth strategies for priority Partnership markets in coordination with distributors, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and fostering co-creation.
- Oversee the full advertising and promotional budget planning cycles, including monthly reviews, reallocations, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Global House of Brands teams to align objectives and execution.
- Represent the company to agencies, distributors, and institutions to strengthen brand presence and outcomes.
- Build, inspire, and develop a diverse marketing team emphasizing inclusion, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an MBA is preferred.
- More than 10 years of senior marketing leadership experience within FMCG or alcohol sectors, managing multi-brand portfolios.
- Strong financial understanding, especially regarding advertising & promotion (A&P), ROI, and P&L impact.
- In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior, customer dynamics, and channel marketing.
- Proven success in brand development, communication strategies, shopper/trade marketing, and commercial partnerships.
- Visionary leader able to combine insights, creativity, and commercial priorities.
- Excellent communication, influencing abilities, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, innovative, results-focused, and passionate about the spirits industry.
- Collaborative team player with a global outlook and growth orientation.
