Role Overview

The Director of Business Operations is a senior strategic position focused on guiding organizational priorities, overseeing financial budgeting and execution, ensuring operational compliance, and maintaining program governance for a substantial global data center security program with a multi-hundred-million-dollar client. This position leads three key areas: Finance, Compliance, and the Branch Program Team, guaranteeing that the program operates with transparency, integrity, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for Finance, Compliance, and Branch Program teams to support long-term global data center security operations.
• Manage financial planning and monitor performance to ensure fiscal health.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Enhance program frameworks for regional consistency and scalability.
• Advise senior leadership and influence critical program decisions.
• Drive initiatives that improve operational integrity, business alignment, and financial outcomes.
• Develop team capabilities and optimize business processes.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and provide clear executive reports and insights.
• Uphold a high standard of transparency, accountability, and service delivery across all operational teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience overseeing diverse business operations.
• Minimum of 3 years at a director-level role.
• Experience with global, multi-region operations; data center industry background preferred.
• Strong business acumen with capacity to influence across organizational layers without direct authority.
• Proven strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and results-driven leader.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment and align business operations with organizational goals.
• Willingness to travel internationally about 30% of the time; valid passport required.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends when necessary to support global operations and urgent events.
• Reliable communication means and transportation for onsite work.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.

Additional Information

This role requires strong physical and mental capabilities, including managing multiple tasks, working independently, and maintaining composure under pressure when interacting with clients, executives, and authorities. Frequent computer use and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds are part of the responsibilities. The position may involve handling confidential information and requires scheduling flexibility to meet operational demands.

Compensation and Benefits
