Job description

Role summary

Interpath is a fast-expanding international advisory firm with strong capability across deals, advisory, and restructuring. The business helps global organisations, investors, and other stakeholders navigate major decisions and difficult situations with practical, value-driven outcomes.

As the Value Creation practice continues to grow, Interpath is hiring an experienced Director for Digital Transformation Advisory to help establish a new Digital Transformation team.

This position is a chance to help design and scale the firm’s digital transformation offering together with the Managing Director. The role combines practice-building with leading high-impact client work across industries, regions, and transaction contexts. You will support both regulated and non-regulated clients through technology-led transformation, M&A activity, operating model redesign, and strategic technology programmes.

Key accountabilities

  • Contribute as a senior member of the Digital Transformation team and support the Managing Director in growing the practice.
  • Take ownership of complex digital transformation engagements across multiple sectors and international geographies.
  • Coordinate large, multi-disciplinary technology programmes and keep delivery aligned to timelines, budgets, and agreed outcomes.
  • Act as the main link between technology specialists and business stakeholders, turning technical detail into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Advise clients on a wide range of transformation topics, including strategic planning, business case creation, technology strategy, operating model design, application and enterprise architecture, technology due diligence, carve-outs, separations, integrations, data migration, analytics, AI-enabled solutions, infrastructure change, cloud environments, data management, cybersecurity, operational resilience, IT risk, governance, controls, RFPs, vendor selection, procurement, and supplier management.
  • Create strong client proposals, pitches, and presentation materials with clear awareness of commercial and delivery risk.
  • Contribute to business development through an existing network and active market presence.
  • Lead steering committees, executive workshops, and presentations for Boards and senior leadership.
  • Diagnose the underlying causes of technology and organisational issues and recommend practical solutions for senior decision-makers.
  • Develop trusted working relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party providers to achieve strong outcomes.
  • Coach and develop junior colleagues and help build capability across the wider team.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience leading digital transformation and technology advisory work, ideally in consulting, advisory, or professional services.
  • Proven delivery of transformation programmes across industries beyond financial services.
  • Strong history of managing complex, multi-disciplinary technology engagements with a focus on delivery success.
  • Broad expertise across technology strategy, architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and technology aspects of M&A.
  • Demonstrated business development capability, including a solid network and a record of generating and winning work.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience with executive teams and Boards.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills, with the judgement to combine detail with strategic thinking.
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative leadership style and experience working with clients, internal teams, and third-party suppliers.
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and grow high-performing teams.
  • Professional, ethical, and commercially minded approach.
  • Willingness to travel when needed.

Why this role stands out

This is a meaningful opportunity to help build a rapidly growing Digital Transformation practice within a respected independent advisory firm. The role blends client delivery with practice development, allowing you to work alongside senior leaders while helping organisations solve complex technology and transformation challenges.

Benefits

Interpath offers a competitive and comprehensive reward package, including attractive pay and a range of core and optional benefits.
