Job Overview
This pivotal role within Keppel Fund Management & Investment’s Infrastructure team centers on driving investment initiatives across the regional market and overseeing the complete investment lifecycle. The incumbent will focus on deal origination, structuring, execution, and deliver risk-adjusted maximum investment returns aligned with the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior leadership in capital raising efforts.
- Analyze, originate, structure, negotiate, recommend, and upon approval, close investment transactions, including conducting due diligence and preparing legal documentation in line with the Investment Committee’s mandate.
- Continuously monitor principal markets to identify attractive investment opportunities and propose strategies to enhance long-term returns.
- Establish and nurture relationships with investment partners, service providers, brokers, and other real estate stakeholders within key markets.
- Assist in elevating market awareness of Keppel’s investment mandate.
- Develop and implement asset management and divestment strategies.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reporting including quarterly investor updates, annual reports, and customized asset reports.
- Benchmark asset performance against market standards to ensure targets are met.
- Collaborate with specialized groups within Keppel Fund Management & Investment as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in investment fund management, corporate finance, or M&A, with expertise in power, energy, and/or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong academic background.
- Skilled in market and industry research related to infrastructure or private equity assets.
- Detail-oriented with robust financial modeling and hands-on approach.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic setting.
- Independent, critical thinker with superior analytical skills.
- Proven decision-making ability for investment and asset management.
- Excellent at stakeholder engagement across diverse levels and functions.
- Strong communication skills, including oral presentations and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Willingness to travel frequently to key markets.
- Motivated, challenge-driven with high energy, adaptability, and personable nature.
