Job description

Overview

This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner organization that oversees all applications and subsequent steps. The hiring company is seeking a Director, Global Services in Canada.

In this senior leadership position, you will be accountable for the performance of a portfolio of franchise partners within an assigned region. Your work will center on serving as the main point of contact and a trusted business advisor, helping franchisees increase agent headcount, strengthen day-to-day operations, and improve profitability while remaining aligned with brand expectations and corporate direction.

The role blends relationship management with practical, data-informed consulting. You will work in close partnership with internal teams in sales, marketing, operations, and support to build coordinated solutions that enable franchise partners to grow. The setting is energetic, collaborative, and focused on outcomes, with a strong emphasis on measurable expansion and durable partner success.

This role is an important contributor to regional growth and to the overall health of the franchise network.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as the main relationship lead for a portfolio of franchise owners, offering continuous strategic advice, operational help, and business consulting.
  • Support organic growth in agent numbers by contributing to recruitment and retention efforts and working alongside internal sales and expansion teams.
  • Hold recurring business reviews with franchisees to evaluate results, uncover performance gaps, and build practical improvement plans.
  • Encourage use of company tools, programs, and brand initiatives that improve productivity, profitability, and consistency across the network.
  • Make sure franchisees remain aligned with brand standards, contractual commitments, renewals, and financial duties, including accounts receivable management.
  • Partner with internal departments to solve issues, raise service quality, and keep regional execution aligned with broader business goals.
  • Track market changes and competitor actions to guide strategy and reinforce franchise performance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in franchise management, business consulting, real estate operations, or a similar client-facing strategic role.
  • Solid knowledge of franchise structures, business operations, and growth approaches, ideally within real estate or another distributed business model.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain senior-level relationships while influencing stakeholders across different organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to turn data and insights into concrete growth actions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including confidence leading business reviews and advisory conversations.
  • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities, driving accountability, and achieving measurable results in a performance-focused environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay suited to senior leadership responsibilities.
  • Flexible working arrangements, with remote or hybrid setups available depending on location.
  • Full health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Substantial paid time off, public holidays, and parental leave.
  • Support for home office setup and wellness-oriented programs that promote balance.
  • Access to professional development, training support, and leadership growth resources.

Important Information

The application and hiring process is managed by the partner company, not by the platform where this role was listed. Applications are reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process designed to screen candidates quickly, consistently, and fairly against the role’s core criteria. The system identifies the strongest matches and forwards a shortlist to the hiring company, which handles interviews, assessments, and final hiring decisions.

By applying, candidates acknowledge that their personal data will be processed to assess candidacy and may be shared with the hiring employer in line with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, where relevant. Candidates may exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, and objection at any time. AI tools may also assist in parts of the recruitment workflow, but human judgment remains responsible for the final decision.
