Role Summary
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this strategic role carries the responsibility for the Group's comprehensive financial oversight, capital management, and governance priorities. The Director will lead investment strategy, monitor portfolio performance, oversee capital deployment, manage risks, and ensure audit and compliance adherence. Aligning financial goals with broader organisational objectives is key.
The role involves developing and implementing the Group's investment and governance frameworks, partnering closely with portfolio companies to foster value creation, track asset performance, and assess new investment opportunities. Responsibilities also include guiding investment due diligence, structuring transactions, negotiating deals, and maintaining robust governance, risk controls, and sustainable returns across the portfolio.
As a senior executive, the Director will provide board-level financial and governance reporting and act as a trusted advisor in strategic decision-making.
Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law, or a related field. Additional professional credentials such as CFA or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable. A strong background is demonstrated by at least 15 years of professional experience including a minimum of five years in senior leadership. Experience in banking, financial services, or family offices is considered beneficial. Leadership skills and a dedication to team development are essential.
