Job description

Role overview

Bristol Myers Squibb is looking for a Director to lead European content transformation work, with a special focus on activating Mosaic in Germany and supporting other European content hub models. The role sits within an AI-led marketing shift aimed at improving the content supply chain, scaling omnichannel delivery, and strengthening content operations across markets.

This position will shape and execute the European market content strategy, support the launch and evolution of Mosaic in Germany with CASA and cross-functional stakeholders, and oversee the BMS Production team in Europe. It also plays a key part in expanding Mosaic through additional brands, channels, technology, and personalized content approaches.

What working here is about

The company describes its environment as challenging, meaningful, and designed for career growth. It emphasizes work that can influence patients’ lives, collaboration with high-performing teams, and access to benefits and support that help employees balance work and personal commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Advance the AI-based marketing direction by helping implement and support European content models such as Mosaic, OCSC, self-service, and agency-based delivery.
  • Work with BIT and European Markets to define roadmaps for changing, scaling, and simplifying content models.
  • Oversee the Germany and Europe production teams so they can deliver compliant, high-quality digital omnichannel assets quickly and at scale across multiple markets and operating models.
  • Lead Germany’s Mosaic mobilization through discovery, alignment, and structured planning.
  • Identify local business, customer, and operational factors that could affect model design or create risks and blockers.
  • Contribute input on sequencing and the implications of activation decisions.
  • Drive Mosaic rollout and ongoing development in Germany by understanding local priorities and market-specific needs.
  • Choose services from the hub and help define the right market engagement model.
  • Build activation plans covering timing, sequencing, training, and support.
  • Set up feedback mechanisms to improve the model as it expands across brands and possibly other European markets.
  • Challenge existing content standards and practices where improvement is needed.
  • Monitor the market’s overall workstream to improve efficiency, performance, and business impact.
  • Support the launch of additional brands while improving delivery consistency at scale.
  • Assist with EU implementation of the OCSC content model outside Germany, particularly around production support.
  • Partner with BIT and European Markets on governance and decisions about how OCSC connects with enterprise technology and processes.
  • Work with CASA Change Management to design and carry out change plans.
  • Guide the Germany Content Specialist to make sure content libraries remain accurate, searchable, compliant, and ready for activation.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a business-focused advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in European pharmaceutical content strategy, marketing, or a commercial role, including at least 4 years working with digital content platforms and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with a content hub or a similar operating model, including activation and scaling across regions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with confidence in influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to build strong internal relationships and convert business needs into practical content strategies and services.
  • Demonstrated leadership in creating and executing strategy that supports local and regional commercialization objectives.
  • Experience working with local, regional, and global teams to drive innovation through mobilization, activation, and transformation.
  • Strong record of managing complex, large-scale initiatives and rollout plans while staying flexible enough to adapt for different brands and markets.
  • Ability to define and implement metrics that measure content performance and support continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
  • The role may involve occasional travel of up to 30% to work with global teams and stakeholders.
