Job description
Role purpose
This position is accountable for helping drive profitable, long-term market share expansion across Southeast Asia by shaping and delivering cross-functional strategic programs. The role also focuses on making the organization more efficient by streamlining ways of working and refining the operating model to reduce waste and friction. In addition, it supports quicker, better decisions through alignment among stakeholders, clear transparency, and strong use of data and insights. The role includes interpreting market trends, championing advanced data, analytics, and AI initiatives, and overseeing a portfolio of strategic projects with significant business impact.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager and leadership group to build and execute the SEA Strategic Business Plan across brand, channels, and enabling functions.
- Own strategic planning activities and lead key initiatives from concept through execution.
- Assess, design, and roll out improved commercial models for SEA and individual SEA markets.
- Provide structured oversight of strategic priorities across the region through a single, consistent project management approach.
- Lead ambitious “moonshot” initiatives and convert visionary concepts into practical regional plans and delivery.
- Run business reviews, strategy sessions, and the annual priority-setting cycle.
- Drive important transformation programs across SEA stakeholders end to end.
- Identify project risks, escalate decisions when needed, and secure alignment among stakeholders.
- Set priorities and coordinate cross-functional work to maximize overall business impact.
- Standardize and simplify processes in line with global standards and guidance.
- Lead organizational and process transformation efforts that support business goals.
- Support the SEA Head Office operating model so it continues to enable growth.
- Facilitate senior leadership governance, management routines, and executive interactions.
- Monitor, track, and report key SEA business KPIs.
- Act as the link between regional leadership, local country teams, and global stakeholders to keep execution aligned.
- Adapt and implement Head Office frameworks for the SEA region.
- Plan and coordinate Head Office offsites and market visits.
- Use data and insights to inform strategic decisions and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Convert analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Serve as the regional advocate for Data & Analytics and AI, helping build a data-led culture across SEA.
- Strengthen team capability and contribute to a high-performance environment.
- Demonstrate strong leadership presence and communicate in a way that reflects company values.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in finance, commercial, strategy, project, or change management roles within a matrixed, multi-channel, or consulting setting.
- A university degree in business is required, preferably with a focus on finance, marketing, or sales.
- Background in apparel, footwear, fashion, or FMCG is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong ability to influence across functions and at senior leadership levels.
- Well-developed strategic thinking and a thoughtful, clear leadership style.
- Solid commercial awareness and business judgment.
- Excellent communication skills with strong personal presence.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
