Overview
The Director of Benefits and Wellbeing is tasked with creating, executing, and overseeing a well-rounded benefits program that aligns with Qiddiya's strategic mission while adhering to Saudi Arabian labor laws and regulations. This leadership position guides the benefits and wellbeing team to deliver outstanding support, ensuring employee welfare, satisfaction, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive benefits and wellbeing strategy that reflects organizational objectives, culture, and employee requirements.
- Perform continuous evaluations of benefits to discover opportunities for enhancements and innovation.
- Collaborate with HR leadership teams to identify suitable benefits offerings and levels.
- Supervise the development and management of various benefits programs such as medical insurance, retirement plans including GOSI, disability and life insurance, leave policies (annual, sick, maternity/paternity), and employee assistance programs.
- Manage partnerships with external benefit providers and vendors.
- Oversee budget adherence related to benefits expenditure, seeking cost-effective solutions without sacrificing employee satisfaction.
- Negotiate advantageous terms with benefits providers.
- Design and implement communication strategies aimed at educating employees on benefits and entitlements while providing ongoing enrollment and claims support.
- Lead and mentor the benefits and wellbeing team, fostering a motivational and productive environment.
- Ensure strict compliance with Saudi Arabian labor laws, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies related to benefits programs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience in benefits and wellbeing management, including at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian labor laws with an emphasis on benefits regulations.
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective benefits programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and HR management platforms.
- Experience working within a multinational environment.
