Direct Investments Manager

Overview

Takamol Ventures is looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to spearhead its Venture Capital investment initiatives. The selected professional will oversee the entire investment lifecycle from sourcing and evaluation to execution and portfolio oversight, playing a crucial role in advancing Takamol's venture capital platform.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain connections with founders, venture firms, accelerators, incubators, and ecosystem collaborators.
• Identify promising investment opportunities aligned with Takamol Ventures’ strategic goals.
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of potential investments.
• Perform comprehensive market, competitive, financial, and strategic assessments of targets.
• Create detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
• Draft thorough investment memoranda.
• Lead negotiation of investment terms and manage transaction documentation in collaboration with external legal counsel.
• Oversee portfolio company performance and key operational metrics.
• Support portfolio businesses via strategic networking, partnerships, business expansion, and fundraising assistance.
• Coordinate initiatives that drive value creation across Takamol’s ecosystem.
• Compile and present portfolio performance and investor reports.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Advanced credentials such as MBA, CFA, or CAIA are advantageous.
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, growth equity, investment banking, consulting, startup acceleration, entrepreneurship, or related investment environments.
• Proven track record in evaluating, executing, and overseeing investment deals.
• Deep knowledge of startup ecosystems, venture capital processes, and technology-driven business models.
• Proficiency in preparing investment documentation, financial forecasting, valuation, and presenting to investment committees.
• Experience handling due diligence proceedings.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills.
