Job description
Role overview
Squiz is hiring a Strategy Consultant for its ANZ team in Auckland. The role is centered on growing the enterprise customer base by spotting new opportunities, guiding strategic conversations, and helping clients unlock measurable value from the Squiz Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
You will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, running discovery sessions, shaping digital roadmaps, and working closely with Account Directors to turn opportunities into commercial wins. This position is a strong fit for someone who combines strategic thinking with business impact, and who is comfortable engaging everyone from operational teams to senior executives.
The ideal candidate brings creativity, strong strategic judgment, and prior experience in a digital agency or similar advisory environment.
What you will do
In this role, you will partner across sales and consulting teams to identify value opportunities, design strategic engagements, and advise customers on digital experience improvements. You will also contribute to internal consulting tools and practices that support growth and customer success.
Digital consulting and opportunity development
- Work with Account Directors to uncover and qualify opportunities across the existing customer portfolio.
- Lead discovery discussions that surface business pain points and digital goals.
- Create persuasive pitches that align customer needs with Squiz DXP capabilities.
- Prepare proposals, business cases, and investment recommendations that help move buying decisions forward.
- Support deal progression by handling objections, building agreement, and showing the value of the solution.
Strategic engagements and customer workshops
- Plan and facilitate strategic workshops with operational and executive stakeholders to assess maturity and identify improvement areas.
- Deliver practical roadmaps and recommendations based on the customer’s context and priorities, connecting business strategy, user experience, and technology enablers.
- Run focused assessments that inform both sales planning and customer success planning.
- Shape adoption strategies that improve platform usage and support long-term retention.
Customer advisory
- Serve as a subject matter expert on digital experience best practices, web strategy, and DXP capabilities.
- Advise customers on personalisation, content strategy, portal design, and digital transformation approaches.
- Turn technical platform features into business outcomes that resonate with executive sponsors.
- Build trusted relationships that position Squiz as a strategic partner rather than only a supplier.
Collaboration and practice development
- Help build consulting frameworks, templates, and sales enablement resources.
- Share customer insights and learnings with Account Directors, Customer Success, and Product teams.
- Contribute to the refinement of consulting offerings based on customer needs and market feedback.
