Based primarily in Nottingham with hybrid working options, this role focuses on developing and improving digital products that assist NHS organisations in efficiently identifying, selecting, and ordering products to deliver enhanced patient outcomes and NHS value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the prioritisation and management of digital product features and roadmap activities aligned with business targets and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with user researchers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and stakeholders to design strategic product concepts and ensure high-quality digital solutions.
  • Utilise customer insights, analytic data, and feedback alongside commercial considerations to make balanced, informed product decisions.
  • Create business cases, establish success metrics, and regularly assess product performance to drive adoption and maximize return on investment.
  • Manage customer feedback triage, identify enhancement opportunities, and prioritize improvements within a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Effectively communicate intricate product strategies, priorities, and suggestions to diverse internal stakeholders including business and technical teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, NHS clients, and technology partners to develop digital products that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Apply agile product management techniques to continuously test, optimize, and evolve digital experiences while minimizing risks.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum five years managing digital products with proven responsibility over product ownership and roadmap development (junior level insufficient).
  • Strong expertise in digital product management including agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and feature prioritisation.
  • Experience in B2B eCommerce or similarly complex, multi-stakeholder digital landscapes is highly preferred.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts and influence outcomes across senior leadership, technical teams, and business units.
  • Proficiency in using customer insight and analytics tools to guide product decisions and assess success.
  • Knowledge of digital ecosystems, platform integrations, and data-centric product development practices.
  • Familiarity with product and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills combined with a collaborative and proactive working style.
  • Commitment to a values-driven mindset focused on customer-centric outcomes and ongoing improvement.

Additional Information

  • Must be available to commence work within two weeks due to the urgent nature of this fixed-term contract.

  • 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with an option to purchase up to 5 additional days.

  • 1 day of paid well-being leave and access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Generous pension scheme with employer contributions of 12% when you contribute 6%.
  • Flexible Benefits Scheme allowing selection from options including Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection, Health Cash Plans, Dental Insurance, and additional pension contributions.
  • 2 days of paid volunteering leave to support community involvement.
  • Access to discounts via Blue Light Card and NHS-specific offers.
