Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable digital campaigns, recognize political momentum, and transform it into impactful actions that mobilize audiences.
- Build and nurture community channels such as newsletters, WhatsApp, and broadcast systems.
- Create and manage interactive, participatory community platforms like Discord or Reddit.
- Design organizing funnels that convert community members into active participants and establish sustainable mobilization frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with various departments, contribute ideas in daily meetings, and independently lead projects by coordinating tasks and guiding teammates when needed.
- Analyze reach and impact, drawing lessons to improve future initiatives.
- Introduce new ideas, emerging trends, and innovative tools, actively shaping editorial workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with digital organizing and community mobilization.
- Track record in designing and executing political campaigns both online and offline.
- Proficient in crafting organizing messages, including mailings, notifications, and action texts.
- Strong creativity with a keen sense for mobilization dynamics.
- Excellent understanding of political discourse in Germany, including timing and tone.
- Excellent writing skills in German, able to effectively communicate in short formats (e.g., 280-character messages) and longer texts or video scripts.
- Up-to-date knowledge of organizing trends, tools, and hacks.
- Familiarity with project management and team communication platforms such as Trello and Slack.
- High degree of responsibility, accountability, and enthusiasm for teamwork.
- Interest in political communication and passion for innovative, progressive content.
- Bonus: skills in graphic or video production tools.
- Availability for a near full-time role (32+ hours per week), ideally starting immediately; applications from later start dates are also welcome.
