Role Overview

We seek a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to integrate creative content with performance marketing strategies. This hands-on position focuses on generating qualified leads through paid advertising, SEO, CRM workflow management, and content development. The specialist will report directly to the Head of Brand & Marketing and act as the core marketing representative within the company on a daily basis. Candidates must have between two and four years of digital marketing experience and be located in Sydney, Australia to qualify.

Core Responsibilities

Digital Presence & Search Authority (SEO)

  • Conduct ongoing audits and corrections to maintain website technical health and coordinate with website partners.
  • Implement SEO best practices optimized for AI and traditional search engines, utilizing tools like HREFS or SEMRUSH, and provide quarterly AI visibility reports.
  • Monitor website speed and core web vitals, escalating technical issues to ensure smooth user experience.
  • Create search-optimized, brand-consistent copy for blogs, product, and landing pages that incorporate high-intent keywords.
  • Organize content structure through correct header use, meta descriptions, and alt text to enhance discoverability.

Performance Marketing (Paid Ads)

  • Develop and launch advertising campaigns across Google and Meta platforms based on briefs and creative inputs from the Head of Marketing.
  • Handle technical campaign aspects such as placement strategies, audience segmentation, and bid management.
  • Track key performance metrics like CTR and ROAS daily, recommending technical tweaks to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Swiftly refresh ad creatives to maintain engagement and prevent audience fatigue.

Digital Content & Social Strategy

  • Manage email marketing campaigns using existing templates.
  • Execute social media calendars across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Assist in producing quality visual content such as still images, reels, and short videos to boost brand presence and engagement.

Marketing Infrastructure & Sales Enablement (Zoho CRM)

  • Develop and sustain lead-to-win automation workflows, supporting marketing efforts, lead nurturing, and AI-assisted allocation within Zoho CRM.
  • Guarantee complete attribution of leads by consistently tracking source tags from initial engagement through to revenue realization.

Data, Analytics & Insights

  • Base decisions and content strategies on performance metrics, delivering routine updates on leads, pipeline values, cost per acquisition, conversion rates, and engagement.
  • Support campaign financial oversight by tracking expenditure relative to results alongside the Head of Brand and Marketing.
  • Create and maintain marketing dashboards for real-time insights into website, organic traffic, and paid campaign data.

Strategic and Event Support

  • Stay informed about evolving industry trends and product innovations to advise leadership of potential challenges or opportunities.
  • Provide technical and content assistance for trade shows, showroom events, and support the CEO and sales team as needed for events.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Two to four years of practical hybrid digital marketing experience with verified campaign success.
  • At least two years of direct involvement with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Meta Ads Manager, including campaign creation, optimization, and reporting.
  • Two years in SEO roles encompassing keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO implementation.
  • Experience of two years managing marketing automation workflows within CRM systems, preferably Zoho.
  • Competence in creating visual content using Canva or comparable design tools.
  • Strong copywriting skills producing compelling, brand-aligned content across formats.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools, dashboard creation, and campaign platform reporting.
  • Relevant marketing, communications, or related academic qualification.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience targeting B2B segments is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Advanced marketing automation capabilities beyond foundational workflows.
  • Certifications in Google Ads or Meta platforms.
  • Skills in social video editing.
  • Interest or background in building materials, architecture, interiors, or sustainability sectors.
  • Familiarity with utilizing AI tools for content creation, research, and workflow optimization.
