Job description

About the role

Catalyst Media is hiring a Digital Marketing Executive for a full-time, permanent position based in Dublin City Centre, with a hybrid arrangement of three office days each week. This is a practical, varied role suited to someone who is organised, commercially aware, and comfortable working across multiple brands and channels.

You will support a portfolio that includes Dublin Tech Summit and the European Motor Show, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and other internal teams to produce consistent, high-quality marketing output for both event and media brands.

Copywriting and content development

  • Create polished, audience-friendly copy for websites, social channels, paid promotions, email campaigns, brochures, and landing pages.
  • Prepare event listings, session overviews, speaker biographies, scripts, and content for post-event use.
  • Keep the voice and messaging aligned across several brands and platforms.
  • Review and refine outbound content to ensure it is accurate, clear, and consistent.

Social media planning and execution

  • Build and update social media calendars for multiple brands in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Plan and write content for posts, campaigns, and social-first creative assets across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and how content performs in order to improve messaging and spot new opportunities.
  • Assist with on-site content creation and live social coverage during events.

Webinar and digital session support

  • Coordinate the practical and communications side of webinars and online sessions.
  • Write promotional materials such as listings, email invitations, social updates, and follow-up messages.
  • Work with speakers to ensure assets are delivered on time and brand standards are maintained.
  • Turn webinar content into shorter social clips, blog-style summaries, and other marketing materials.

Media partner administration

  • Handle day-to-day administration for media partnerships across key event brands, with main responsibility for Dublin Tech Summit and the European Motor Show.
  • Manage partner obligations such as logo usage, content contributions, promotional commitments, and accreditation.
  • Keep accurate records of agreements, deadlines, and completed deliverables.
  • Act as a professional and responsive contact point for media partners throughout the event lifecycle.

Research, brand, and campaign support

  • Carry out market and competitor research to support campaign planning, including competitor analysis, event coverage, keyword trends, and content benchmarking.
  • Share findings and suggestions with the Digital Marketing Manager during planning discussions.
  • Support brand messaging documents, tone-of-voice guidance, and content standards.
  • Contribute ideas and content for launch activity, partner announcements, editorial campaigns, and other initiatives aligned with business and audience goals.

Event support

  • From time to time, take ownership of smaller C-suite events such as dinners, breakfast seminars, and working lunches for up to 100 attendees.
  • Support these events by managing suppliers, budgets, guest lists, and communications.
  • Provide flexible support to Event Managers on larger productions when needed.

Experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a corporate environment, preferably in marketing, communications, or events. Strong English writing skills are essential, along with the ability to write, edit, and proofread short- and long-form content to a high standard.

Experience with content marketing, audience engagement, and social media management across multiple platforms is important. Familiarity with CMS tools such as WordPress, design tools like Canva, and webinar platforms such as Zoom or ON24 is preferred. Knowledge of HubSpot, SEO best practices, and scheduling tools is also desirable, and training can be provided.

Key attributes

  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident communicator who works well in a collaborative environment.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different projects and brands.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving workplace where priorities can change.
  • Genuinely interested in media, technology, and business.

Why join Catalyst Media

  • Work across respected Irish media and technology brands.
  • Enjoy a hybrid working setup from a collaborative Dublin city centre office.
  • Receive 21 days of annual leave.
  • Gain exposure to live events, thought leadership, and high-impact campaigns.
  • Access training and development support, including SEO, Google Ads, and email marketing.
  • Contribute ideas and creative input across the portfolio.

Additional information
