Role overview
brandformula is hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant to support a busy and expanding digital team. The role sits within a well-established agency environment and focuses on bringing client content plans and marketing activity to life across a range of digital channels. You will help deliver content, campaigns, and reporting for major financial services brands, while also contributing to the agency’s own marketing activity.
This position is based near Liverpool Street/Shoreditch in central London, within a friendly team of more than 30 people. The working atmosphere is described as relaxed, collaborative, and welcoming, with an emphasis on organisation, curiosity, and a good sense of humour.
What the role involves
- Working under the Head of Digital alongside the digital marketing team, account managers, creatives, wider agency colleagues, and external suppliers to deliver retained client activity and campaigns.
- Writing, improving, publishing, and scheduling social media and website content for clients.
- Uploading website content through client content management systems.
- Keeping an eye on client social media channels and activity.
- Assisting with email marketing campaigns.
- Tracking results and preparing reports on digital activity and campaign performance against KPIs.
- Supporting the agency’s own digital marketing work as well as client delivery.
- Speaking with clients through meetings and phone calls on a regular basis.
- Helping promote the digital department internally and externally.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant already has some marketing knowledge or hands-on digital experience and is enthusiastic about working across multiple channels. The company is prepared to provide training in other areas, so the key requirement is bringing relevant foundations and a strong interest in digital marketing.
