Role Overview
The organization seeks an experienced Digital Identity & Security Access Management Specialist to protect critical data, systems, and applications by operating and continuously enhancing a comprehensive set of enterprise security solutions deployed across both on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate a diverse suite of security tools, including File Integrity Monitoring (NNT Change Tracker), Database Protection (Imperva), Data Loss Prevention (Microsoft DLP), Data Classification and Information Protection (Microsoft Purview), Endpoint Detection & Response and Anti-Virus platforms, and Application & API Security (FortiWeb).
- Continuously improve security operations by identifying and leveraging underutilized features in existing tools to maximize their effectiveness and deliver greater business and security benefits.
- Design and uphold robust security architectures across system, data, and application layers in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
- Detect and remediate security vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and exposures, particularly those related to web and API threats.
- Maintain operational hygiene by ensuring all security solutions are regularly patched, updated, and compliant with vendor guidelines and organizational security policies.
- Support incident response efforts addressing data leaks, endpoint threats, and attacks targeting applications or APIs, and provide technical expertise during audits, assessments, and compliance reporting activities.
- Promote best security practices by driving process and system enhancements and sharing knowledge throughout the team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 to 7 years’ hands-on experience in system, data, endpoint, or application security domains.
- Strong practical skills with data protection, endpoint security, and application/API security solutions and technologies.
- Thorough understanding of data protection controls, system hardening techniques, and fundamental principles of application security.
- Experience supporting hybrid IT environments that combine on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities combined with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Possession of relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ is highly advantageous.
