Job description

Role overview

Gold Coast SUNS is hiring a creative and experienced Digital Content Producer to join its Media, Marketing and Digital team during a period of strong club growth. Based at Carrara on the Gold Coast, this full-time onsite position offers the chance to help shape how the club’s stories are presented to fans, members, partners and the broader community.

Since joining the AFL in 2011, the SUNS have continued to grow their supporter base across the Gold Coast and Queensland. With the playing group developing, leadership strengthening, and membership, participation and engagement rising, the club is focused on producing engaging stories that connect people to its purpose, performance and culture.

What you will do

  • Plan, film and edit compelling video content across football, community, commercial and brand-led storytelling.
  • Create content designed first for social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube, as well as the club’s own digital channels.
  • Bring forward new content concepts, formats and approaches that help expand audience reach and engagement.
  • Publish and maintain video and written content through the club’s CMS and VMS platforms.
  • Oversee the studio environment, filming gear and audio resources.
  • Partner with commercial, consumer and community teams to deliver content that supports revenue, sponsor outcomes and campaign performance, including social ads, digital sponsor materials, matchday screen assets and creative campaign content.

What the club is looking for

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in video production and digital content creation.
  • Strong camera handling and video editing capability, with advanced ability in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using After Effects and other Adobe Creative Suite tools is preferred.
  • Confidence to work both independently and as part of a team in fast-moving live environments.
  • Sound judgement, effective problem-solving and the ability to perform well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for sport, storytelling and digital innovation.

Additional information

This role plays an important part in supporting the club’s communication strategy by promoting its partners, people, programs, events and achievements through engaging, audience-led content across all channels.

The position is not limited to standard business hours. Flexibility is required for evenings and weekends based on football fixtures, events and content needs. Interstate travel will also be necessary.

Applicants should provide a resume, a cover letter outlining relevant experience and equipment used, and links to recent work samples.

Applications close on Thursday, 2 July 2026.
