Job description

About eventflo

eventflo is an Australian platform that is rethinking how live events sell tickets, build fan ownership, and manage operations through a single connected system.

Its founders and shareholders have worked behind major music festivals and event brands in Australia, including Stereosonic, Reminisce, Dreamstate, Altitude, and others. The company is now developing the platform they always wanted to use, supported by strong backing and a path toward global expansion.

This is an early-stage hire and one of the first few roles in the business, so the person in this position will help shape how eventflo presents itself from the beginning.

The opportunity

eventflo has strong raw material to work with: founder insights, product stories, artist moments, industry perspectives, and access to leading events across the country. What it needs is someone who can turn that into a working content engine.

This role owns the full content program: the system, the output, and the overall narrative. The person in the role will take weekly source material and, together with Claude plus a team of agents and humans, transform it into regular, high-quality content for social channels, the website, and the founders' personal brands.

The role also involves being present at major events and festivals across Australia and APAC, including music festivals, seminars, live activations, office shoots, and on-site production. It is suited to someone who wants to work where live moments happen.

What you will do

You will create content across multiple channels, including social media, the website, and founder-led brands, while bringing a consistent visual style and clear brand voice to a company that currently lacks both.

You will lead production at events and act as the on-the-ground producer at festivals and activations, capturing key moments and converting them into content that can be used widely.

You will publish frequently and consistently to help position the company as a thought leader in a space that is not yet crowded.

You will also shape how the brand and its founders are perceived across review platforms, online communities, and AI search, helping build authority and reputation.

The shape of the role

This is primarily a strategy and production role. A video editor, a designer, and AI tools will support the execution, while you direct the work rather than personally producing everything end to end.

At the same time, this is a practical, hands-on role. You should be comfortable picking up a camera and capturing content yourself when something important happens and there is no one else available to do it.

What kind of person fits this role

You need to be an AI-native operator who already knows how to build and manage AI agents and automation workflows. This is required experience, not something the company plans to train from scratch. You should be able to guide AI systems, review their output, and spot when the results are drifting off course.

You should also be a strong communications professional who understands audiences and knows how to create content that resonates.

Organisation and self-direction are important, along with the confidence to own a process, brief others clearly, stand your ground, and push back when needed, even with founders.

The role also calls for someone with a strong producer mindset and a good visual eye, who can both direct work and step in to make things themselves when necessary.

Comfort in a fast-moving, dynamic, early-stage environment is essential, as the role offers scope and ownership rather than rigid structure.

Experience in events, music, festivals, or nightlife is preferred but not essential. A genuine interest in the space and the ability to learn quickly would also be valuable.

Role details

Salary starts from AUD 85,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience. The role is based in Melbourne with a hybrid setup: around three days per week in the South Yarra office or on-site, and the rest working from home. Regular travel to events and festivals is expected. This is a full-time early hire role with room for career growth as the company scales.

How to apply

Applicants should send a cover letter written specifically for this role, explaining in their own words why they are the right person to own the position. Experience will be reviewed as well, but the cover letter is especially important.

Applicants should also include one thing they have built that they are proud of.

The expected start is as soon as possible.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
