Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual who enjoys appearing on camera, resides in Berlin, and possesses excellent German language skills. Since the majority of our content is produced in German and on-site, these criteria are mandatory. Please apply only if you meet all the stated requirements.
About Chay Long
Chay Long is a vegan Vietnamese restaurant brand operating three locations in Berlin: Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg, and Hasenheide. Our culinary approach blends Vietnamese flavors with Buddhist monastery-inspired cuisine, emphasizing plant-based dishes, artisanal preparation, mindful enjoyment, and a contemporary, accessible interpretation of Vietnamese food culture.
Responsibilities
- Create innovative content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Regularly appear on camera as a recurring face of the brand.
- Produce Reels, TikToks, Stories, photos, and other short-form content on location in our restaurants.
- Develop hooks, scripts, and ideas centered on food, vegan nutrition, Vietnamese cuisine, and daily restaurant life.
- Independently shoot and edit short videos, with support from the team as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and maintain the content schedule.
- Monitor trends and adapt relevant formats to Chay Long’s channels.
- Assist with publishing posts and managing community engagement.
- Analyze content performance and refine successful formats.
- Contribute ideas for campaigns, partnerships, events, and recurring content series.
Requirements
- Comfortable and confident on camera, enjoying direct audience engagement.
- Natural, open, and amicable presence, able to communicate content clearly and energetically.
- Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok algorithms and up-to-date knowledge of current formats and trends.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, aesthetics, and communication tailored to target audiences.
- Ability to produce high-quality photos and videos using a smartphone.
- Basic experience with video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Independent, reliable, and well-organized work approach.
- Fluent in German, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to film regularly at our three Berlin locations.
- Interest in food, gastronomy, vegan lifestyle, or sustainable living.
A formal education or specific degree is not essential; more important are your presentation, creativity, practical skills, and intuition for compelling content. Applicants at early career stages are also encouraged to apply.
