Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is with a specialist digital fundraising agency that works with charities and not-for-profit organisations in Ireland, the UK and overseas markets. The team supports supporter, fundraiser and donor acquisition through highly focused digital activity, including paid social, creative experimentation, digital journeys and performance-led campaign management.

The business is expanding and is looking to hire two Digital Account Specialists to join the campaign delivery team. The role is well suited to someone with solid, hands-on experience in Meta Ads Manager who enjoys structured paid social work in a mission-driven environment.

You will contribute to the planning, setup, launch and ongoing optimisation of fundraising campaigns for charity clients, with particular emphasis on Meta platforms. This is a detail-heavy, practical role for someone confident in campaign structures, audiences, ad sets, creative versions, budgets and performance analysis.

You will work alongside a Digital Campaign Manager and other specialists to make sure campaigns are built correctly, go live on schedule and are monitored effectively after launch. The work will involve Meta Ads Manager, other paid social tools, landing page systems, email and SMS journeys, trackers, dashboards and performance data. The environment is fast-paced but supportive, with checklists, clear processes and guidance from experienced colleagues.

The role is full-time at 35 hours per week, with flexible hybrid working. It is mainly remote, with occasional travel to a central Dublin office.

Campaign planning and coordination

  • Assist the Digital Campaign Manager with preparing and coordinating digital fundraising activity.
  • Collect campaign details and keep planning documents updated.
  • Draft internal briefs, supporting documents and campaign materials.
  • Record requirements, actions, deadlines and other key information accurately.
  • Keep trackers, schedules and planning files current and easy for the wider team to use.
  • Work in line with agreed processes and checklists to support consistent delivery.

Meta campaign build and setup

  • Create and maintain paid social campaigns, primarily across Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • Set up campaigns in Meta Ads Manager according to briefs, templates and established best practices.
  • Build and adjust campaign structures, ad sets, audiences, creative assets, copy variations, budgets and testing frameworks.
  • Support audience targeting, retargeting and segmentation work.
  • Implement campaign changes when instructed, including edits to copy, creative, targeting, budgets, placements or structure.
  • Support campaign activity on TikTok and other digital channels when needed.
  • Help create or update landing pages using third-party website or campaign tools.
  • Contribute to email and SMS journey creation and maintenance where required.

Quality control and launch checks

  • Complete thorough pre-launch checks on campaign builds.
  • Review links, tracking, copy, creative, budgets, audiences, placements and Meta settings before launch.
  • Compare campaign elements against the brief and checklist.
  • Spot missing details, mistakes or inconsistencies and escalate them quickly.
  • Support live monitoring by identifying issues, unusual activity or performance concerns.
  • Help ensure campaign work is accurate and delivered to a high standard.

Data, reporting and performance support

  • Collect performance data from Meta Ads Manager, other platforms and internal sources.
  • Enter data accurately into trackers, spreadsheets and reporting dashboards.
  • Help with data hygiene, database updates and campaign record keeping.
  • Support analysis work through clean and consistent data entry.
  • Prepare straightforward campaign summaries for internal review.
  • Assist with slides, reports and updates for client meetings.
  • Use campaign results to help improve future activity.

Team collaboration and development

  • Work closely with campaign managers, analysts, client service colleagues and other digital specialists.
  • Take part in team meetings, campaign reviews, training and feedback sessions.
  • Ask questions, request feedback and continue developing digital campaign knowledge.
  • Stay informed about changes in Meta, paid social platforms, digital fundraising tools and campaign best practice.
  • Support teammates where needed to help deliver client work on time.
  • Contribute to a positive, practical and collaborative agency culture.

Experience and profile

The right candidate is expected to have at least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, paid social, campaign administration or social media advertising. Hands-on ability with Meta Ads Manager is essential, along with experience supporting or building campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.

You should understand campaign structure, ad sets, audiences, placements, budgets, creative variations and performance data, and be comfortable working with trackers, spreadsheets or reporting dashboards. Experience from an agency, charity, not-for-profit, fundraising, ecommerce, performance marketing or in-house marketing setting would all be relevant.

Strong spreadsheet ability, excellent attention to detail, good organisation and a methodical approach are important. The role also calls for clear written and verbal communication, the confidence to raise issues early, and a proactive, curious and practical mindset.

An interest in landing page tools, email and SMS tools, tracking and reporting will be helpful, and familiarity with TikTok or other paid social platforms would be an advantage. A genuine interest in charities, fundraising, social impact or purpose-led campaigns is also valued.

Why this role stands out

This is a strong chance to build practical, highly relevant digital campaign skills in a specialist agency setting. You will gain direct experience in Meta campaign setup, paid social execution, digital fundraising, supporter acquisition journeys, campaign testing, reporting and optimisation.

You will join an expert-led team where accuracy, learning and continuous improvement are central to delivery. For someone looking to grow in digital marketing while working on campaigns with real impact, this is a compelling next step.
