Role Summary

We are searching for an experienced Diagnostic Master Technician to join our Retail Aftersales team in the UAE. The role demands inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles utilizing advanced diagnostic technology and adhering to the Fix It Right methodology, aiming to consistently deliver high-quality service aligned with OEM standards and enhance customer retention.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics, routine and complex repairs, periodic maintenance, and accessory installations as outlined in repair manuals and meeting OEM criteria.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and technical documentation to accurately identify faults and carry out effective repairs following the Fix It Right approach.
• Meet business objectives related to productivity, utilization, and billable hours.
• Assist Technical Advisors with complex repair issues across hybrid, petrol, diesel, and hydrogen vehicles.
• Handle repair support inquiries, quality assurance checks, vehicle test drives, and technical report preparations when required.
• Generate electronic warranty approval requests through the Dealer Management System.
• Maintain strict adherence to 5S methodology, safety protocols, quality standards, and electronic vehicle inspection reporting.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentor workshop colleagues to enhance technical skills.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and inventory control of special and general service tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong technical diagnostic skills and mechanical repair expertise.
• Thorough knowledge of diagnostic equipment, vehicle systems, repair manuals, and wiring schematics.
• Able to produce detailed and clear technical reports on complex repairs.
• Holding a Diploma, technical certification, ITI NCVT Certificate, ITC qualification, or Certified Technician accreditation is mandatory.

Experience and Other Requirements

• Between 5 to 7 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician, preferably in retail automotive environments.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
• Proficient understanding of hybrid, petrol, diesel, and hydrogen vehicle systems diagnostics and repairs.
• Good command of English for effective communication.
• Independent working ability with strong ownership and a commitment to mentor junior technicians.
