Role Overview and Contributions
If you have successfully completed a technical degree and already possess initial professional experience in the embedded systems domain, along with strong skills in hardware-close real-time programming and analytical, conceptual, and goal-driven work methods, this role as Development Engineer Embedded Software could be your next step.
- Develop embedded software using C/C++ for guided missile systems
- Create technical concepts, system architectures, and conduct performance analyses
- Manage software approval processes and provide technical support for flight authorizations and campaigns
- Prepare software requirements, design, implementation, testing, and integration
- Collaborate closely and coordinate with project partners
- Present work results to internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Competencies
- Completed technical degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Initial professional experience in embedded software development
- Strong knowledge of hardware-near real-time programming in C/C++
- Good understanding of real-time operating systems and Embedded Linux
- Experience with modern development methodologies and environments
- Analytical problem-solving skills considering system, software, and hardware aspects
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Strong sense of responsibility, confident manner, and excellent communication abilities
- Analytical, conceptual thinking and goal-oriented working style
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
