Role Overview and Contributions

If you have successfully completed a technical degree and already possess initial professional experience in the embedded systems domain, along with strong skills in hardware-close real-time programming and analytical, conceptual, and goal-driven work methods, this role as Development Engineer Embedded Software could be your next step.

• Develop embedded software using C/C++ for guided missile systems
• Create technical concepts, system architectures, and conduct performance analyses
• Manage software approval processes and provide technical support for flight authorizations and campaigns
• Prepare software requirements, design, implementation, testing, and integration
• Collaborate closely and coordinate with project partners
• Present work results to internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Completed technical degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Initial professional experience in embedded software development
• Strong knowledge of hardware-near real-time programming in C/C++
• Good understanding of real-time operating systems and Embedded Linux
• Experience with modern development methodologies and environments
• Analytical problem-solving skills considering system, software, and hardware aspects
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Strong sense of responsibility, confident manner, and excellent communication abilities
• Analytical, conceptual thinking and goal-oriented working style
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
