Job description
Job summary
This position supports the maintenance team by cleaning and detailing equipment to company standards. It is a close-supervision role and may involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions, rotating shifts that can include nights and weekends, and overtime when needed. Full-time attendance is required.
Key responsibilities
- Wash and detail tractors and trailer equipment.
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Support supply labeling and inventory upkeep as needed.
- Move materials, equipment, and supplies between work areas using carts.
- Sweep, shovel, or vacuum debris and salvageable scrap into containers and remove them from the work area.
- Check parts, equipment, and vehicles for cleanliness and minor damage.
- Clean and polish vehicle windows.
- Apply company sanitization procedures to vehicles inside and outside the cab.
- Keep the work area clean, orderly, and organized.
- Complete vehicle safety checks, including securing keys and using shop/chock blocks.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and must be able to work outdoors and across multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends if required. Up to 1 year of related experience and/or training is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license.

Pay and compensation
The starting pay is described as competitive, with the exact rate influenced by skills, education, experience, geography, and other relevant qualifications. The role may also qualify for annual bonuses and incentive pay tied to profitability or volumes, subject to company plans and terms.
