About the Role
Centorrino Technologies is hiring a permanent Desktop Support Officer for an embedded onsite position in Belgrave, supporting customers in the education sector. This role focuses on delivering dependable technical assistance, maintaining smooth daily operations, and helping create a strong customer experience across a broad technology environment.
You will work with a mix of Macs, PCs, tablet devices, server systems, network infrastructure, and voice platforms, while partnering with specialist teams for server and network-related work. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on support, strong teamwork, and building positive relationships with end users.
Key Duties
- Keep the customer’s day-to-day technology operations running smoothly.
- Build friendly, professional relationships with end users.
- Work with colleagues to spot process gaps and improve efficiency.
- Actively collect customer feedback and use it to improve your service.
- Handle new issues or requests that do not yet have a standard process by helping create and implement one.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation and procedures.
- Take responsibility for daily technology issues and coordinate with external third parties when needed.
- Partner with other internal teams to achieve the best possible outcome for the customer.
What You Need
- Strong customer service focus, with the ability to help people resolve problems on computers and other devices.
- Genuine interest in technology and the motivation to keep systems working at their best.
- Willingness to learn new tools, solutions, and concepts so you can speak confidently with staff and vendors.
- Calm, clear troubleshooting communication that explains both the issue and ways to prevent it happening again.
- Positive, can-do approach backed by experience supporting others with technical issues.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills for working with different stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours when unusual situations require it, including staying back later or adjusting schedules.
