Designer (m/w/d) Knitwear

About the Role

Join the CBR Fashion Group's creative team in Isernhagen near Hannover as a Knitwear Designer, bringing fresh ideas and collaboration to fashion and graphic design. You'll enjoy the freedom to innovate and play a key role in shaping collections that make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new knitwear collections from initial concept through to the finished garment, allowing ample room for creative expression.
• Conduct trend scouting with attention to market developments, target audience preferences, and brand identity to translate them into wearable, commercially viable styles.
• Digitally produce knit-specific artworks and patterns, applying strong design intuition and technical expertise.
• Oversee sample development by coordinating approvals up to production release.
• Ensure fit, quality, and design standards throughout the entire development process.
• Collaborate closely with domestic and international suppliers, including negotiating prices.
• Participate in supplier research and sourcing trips both nationally and internationally.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completed degree in Fashion Design, ideally with some professional experience in knitwear ready-to-wear.
• Strong trend awareness and excellent stylistic judgment aligned with collection identity.
• Specialized knowledge of knitwear quality, construction, and technical details.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication skills.
