Role overview
Valley Park School is looking for a Designated Safeguarding and Attendance Officer to join its safeguarding and attendance team. The role focuses on supporting student safety, wellbeing, and attendance across the organisation.
Working pattern
This is a term-time-only position, covering five days each week and based on site in Maidstone, England, United Kingdom.
Pay and start date
The salary is VIAT 6, equivalent to £29,099 full time, with a pro rata salary of £24,279.73. The expected start date is 01/09/2026. The application closing date is 24/07/2026 at 12:00.
Safeguarding and vetting
The school places safeguarding at the centre of its work and expects all staff and volunteers to help protect children and young people. Appointment to this post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Shortlisted candidates may also be subject to an online search as part of the Trust’s due diligence process, and any information relevant to suitability for working with children will be reviewed and discussed.
