Role overview
We’re looking for a Design Administrator to support the design and technical function at Vistry Works, working from either the Coalville or Warrington factory. In this role, you will help connect the internal and external design teams with the production teams across all factories, ensuring information flows smoothly and work reaches the factory in line with the relevant schedules.

Desirable experience
- Background in a technical office, design office, or a related discipline
- CAD capability
- Prior experience in residential housing
- Working knowledge of Viewpoint for Projects
- Understanding of timber frame construction components
Key duties
- Support the Design Assistant/Design Administrator function by ensuring work is issued to the factory as required and aligned to factory and site schedules
- Work closely with the factory production team to keep design information moving correctly
- Check and coordinate drawing packs and electronic files for factory release, and prepare site drawing packs for issue to the site contracts team
- Upload and maintain bills of material updates in D365
- Assist with uploading and managing drawings in Viewpoint or other shared design locations
- Attend regular production meetings when needed
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Design Manager in support of the wider design team
