Job description
About roadsurfer
roadsurfer is more than just the largest campervan rental business in Europe. Alongside its core services for renting, subscriptions, and sales, the company also introduced roadsurfer spots in 2021, a platform for finding and booking distinctive camping locations. The company is expanding quickly and is looking for people who want to grow with it.
Role overview
As a vehicle technician in Bremen, you will help keep camper vans ready for use, safe, and in strong working condition. The position is suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes responsibility, and can help keep day-to-day operations moving smoothly.
What you will do
- Support the upkeep and care of camper vans, from small hands-on tasks to preparing vehicles for their next trip.
- Carry out straightforward repairs and checks so the fleet stays in reliable, roadworthy condition.
- Record damages and completed work carefully to maintain a clear overview.
- Make sure that colleagues notice vehicle damage and report it properly.
- Find workable solutions when repair needs and booking schedules create pressure, while keeping operations running.
What you should bring
- A willingness to get involved and fix things; practical hands-on ability is enough.
- Dependable working habits and an organised approach.
- Enjoyment of teamwork and clear communication.
- Flexibility and a solution-focused mindset, especially during busy periods.
- A valid category B driving licence.
Compensation
The annual gross salary range for this role is EUR 32,400 to EUR 34,800. The company reviews compensation at least once a year during the annual feedback cycle. The exact placement within the salary band depends on the outcome of the application process and the match between your skills and experience.
Why join roadsurfer
- Friendly, team-oriented culture with flat hierarchies.
- Regular team events such as sports sessions, barbecue evenings, or after-work drinks at your station.
- An annual camper rental allowance so you can experience the roadsurfer lifestyle yourself.
- Access to corporate benefits, the Travel Industry Card, and discounts for family and friends.
- Opportunities to learn and grow through Station Life Camps and training sessions with colleagues from around the world, supported by learning and training experts.
