Position Overview
Norris Road State School is inviting expressions of interest for a Deputy Principal position. This role is pivotal in driving our school's culture of excellence, inclusiveness, and ongoing development. The appointment is temporary full-time, concluding no later than 11 December 2026, with possible extensions not exceeding 12 months.

Role Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal in strategic leadership by cultivating a shared educational vision focused on superior learning results, continuous advancement, and forward-thinking planning.
- Exemplify ethical leadership and uphold high standards by embedding inclusive and equitable practices, promoting a culture of excellence for students and staff alike.
- Enhance professional development and student achievements by engaging in continuous learning and partnering with families, government bodies, community groups, industries, and businesses.
- Provide effective governance and operational leadership by acting on behalf of the Principal when necessary, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies, and managing resources strategically to fulfill organizational objectives.
