Role Summary

The Deputy Manager will oversee quality control within the Quality Department, focusing on injection molded precise automobile components. The role entails ensuring quality standards meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve recurring quality defects by developing effective countermeasures to eliminate reoccurrence.
• Lead initiatives aimed at quality improvement, reducing rejection rates, and enhancing the overall product quality.
• Provide training and guidance to junior quality engineers, inspectors, and operators to raise quality awareness and technical skills.
• Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and spearhead continuous improvement projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in rejection control relating to defective automotive injection molded parts.
• Robust experience in quality control to consistently meet customer deadlines and requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 10 years of industry experience in Quality Assurance, especially within automotive or manufacturing sectors.
• In-depth familiarity with quality management standards and tools such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
• Practical experience in defect analysis, root cause investigation, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and process enhancement.
