Job description

Role Overview

This opening is for an Outbound Tele-Sales Officer (OCC) working at the Assistant Manager M-1 / Deputy Manager M-2 level. The position is based in Thane-West, Maharashtra, and is intended for professionals who can drive sales through outbound customer engagement and portfolio-based selling.

Experience and Profile

Candidates should have 1 to 5 years of experience in banking sales or telesales. Applicants with relevant exposure in telesales, outbound sales, branch sales, or similar customer-facing sales roles outside banking may also be considered. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Both men and women can apply, provided they are between 20 and 32 years of age.

Working Conditions

This is a five-day work week role with two weekly offs: one fixed off on Sunday and one additional off on a weekday or Saturday. The shift is fixed day shift, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Education and Compensation

Applicants should be graduates in any discipline at minimum. Postgraduates and MBA candidates are also eligible. The annual compensation offered is INR 3.50 to 4.50 lakh, along with performance-based incentives. Additional benefits include PF, gratuity, and mediclaim and insurance coverage as per company policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular contact with the assigned customer portfolio in line with the contact policy, while recording interaction details accurately and completely.
  • Place outbound calls to promote and sell banking products based on portfolio activity and customer engagement.
  • Contribute toward business generation, revenue growth, and achievement of monthly targets.
  • Sell products such as CASA, life insurance, general insurance, loans, credit cards, mutual funds, and demat and trading accounts.
  • Handle calls according to defined service standards and resolve customer queries with accuracy.
  • Encourage adoption of digital banking services to improve the customer experience.
  • Deliver high-quality communication and customer service while meeting productivity and service benchmarks.
  • Interact with customers regularly and proactively identify their needs.
