Role Overview

This position is for a Deputy Manager in Intercompany Accounting / Accounts Payable, with a strong focus on Indian accounting practices and related-party transactions. The role requires hands-on experience in P2P and accounts payable processes, along with team leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle intercompany accounting activities, including month-end close processes.
  • Manage accounts payable and complete procure-to-pay operations end to end.
  • Apply knowledge of related-party transactions and accounting in large organizations.
  • Perform vendor and customer ledger reconciliations.
  • Review and analyze general ledger balances and entries.
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and guide a team as part of the role.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Prior team-handling experience is mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP is essential.
  • Experience must be in Indian accounting only.
  • Solid background in P2P / accounts payable is necessary.
  • Practical understanding of related-party transactions and their accounting treatment in large organizations.
  • Ability to reconcile vendor and customer ledgers accurately.
