Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) based in Kingston, Jamaica, to act as the primary execution leader and strategic collaborator with the CEO at one of Jamaica's leading financial institutions. This role demands a seasoned executive who can translate corporate strategies into measurable outcomes and provide leadership across core revenue-generating divisions.
Primary Duties
- Oversee the enterprise-wide implementation of strategic initiatives and business plans.
- Drive growth in revenue, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
- Supervise investment banking, sales and services, wealth management, trading and brokerage, plus treasury and financial institutions divisions.
- Enhance organizational performance by focusing on governance, risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Promote collaboration across functions, accountability, innovation, and maintain a culture of high performance.
- Collaborate with the CEO, Executive Management Team, and Board of Directors to sustain growth and create long-term value.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, Law, or related fields.
- Relevant professional certification such as CFA®, FRM®, CAIA®, CPA, or ACCA.
- At least 12 years of ascending leadership experience in banking, financial services, capital markets, investment, or wealth management.
- Proven record of effectively managing multiple business units, overseeing organizational transformation, and achieving superior commercial and operational outcomes.
- Strong skills in strategic execution, financial performance monitoring, governance, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level leadership.
