About the Role
Join a large Canadian retailer serving communities across the country and helping customers live well every day. This store leadership role is based at Real Canadian Superstore in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, where teamwork, accountability, and customer focus are central to the culture. What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Running the daily activities of one store department and keeping operations on track
- Driving the department toward sales and profit targets
- Coaching and developing associates in customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising
- Making sure products are properly stocked, presented, and priced
- Watching inventory levels and working with other teams to support timely replenishment
- Keeping the department clean and safe for customers and colleagues
- Tracking departmental spending and helping prepare budgets
- Staying in regular contact with store leadership and other managers so store-wide objectives are met
- Actively identifying and attracting strong talent for the team
- Leading, motivating, and supporting colleagues to strengthen productivity, engagement, and retention
- Maintaining strong merchandising and operational standards
- Helping build varied, inclusive teams that support a sense of belonging at work
What You Need
- High school completion or an equivalent credential; post-secondary coursework is an advantage
- Prior retail leadership experience, ideally in a department store or specialty retail environment
- Well-developed leadership and people skills, with the ability to encourage growth in others
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management abilities
- Comfort working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Understanding of retail fundamentals such as merchandising, inventory control, and customer service
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for long periods
