Job Overview
We are looking for skilled and passionate Dentists and Dental Specialists to join our teams in regional areas throughout Australia. Successful candidates will work in modern and fully equipped dental clinics delivering comprehensive dental treatments and services.
Key Duties
- Diagnose dental diseases using diagnostic methods such as radiographs, salivary assays, and patient histories.
- Deliver preventive oral care including periodontal treatments, fluoride applications, and oral health education.
- Perform restorative procedures including dental implants, complex crowns and bridges, orthodontics, and repair of damaged or decayed teeth.
- Conduct oral surgeries including tissue biopsies and medication prescriptions.
- Administer routine orthodontic treatments.
- Restore oral function with fixed and removable prosthetic devices.
- Assist in diagnosing systemic diseases manifesting orally, like diabetes.
- Educate patients on proper mouth and dental hygiene practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor of Dental Surgery or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Australian Dental Board.
- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least two years of clinical experience practicing dentistry.
- Eligibility to work legally in Australia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
