Available Positions
We are looking for two full-time professionals to fill the roles of Dental Assistant / Sterilisation Assistant and Dental Receptionist, each contributing significantly to our patient-focused dental care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, sterilisation, and upkeep of dental instruments and equipment ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols.
- Monitor and document sterilisation processes meticulously to maintain high safety standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist clinicians chairside during procedures.
- Manage stock levels and maintain an organized clinical environment.
- Welcome patients, manage appointment scheduling, handle phone enquiries, and maintain patient records accurately.
- Process payments and support various administrative tasks to facilitate smooth front desk operations.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to create a welcoming and efficient experience for patients.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in dental assisting, sterilisation, reception, or related administrative and clinical support roles.
- Specific experience within dental practice settings is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and adapting to new software.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment and a proactive, supportive attitude toward team collaboration.
- Must possess valid New Zealand work rights and reside locally.
