Demand Planner

Role Overview

We are expanding our operations and seek a Demand Planner responsible for forecasting, purchasing, and shipment oversight, specifically managing LG and channel PSI operations. This role involves detailed analysis to support efficient Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure effective planning procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate weekly and monthly PSI analysis reports, liaising with Sales and Marketing to review sales and inventory data.
• Utilize PSI management systems such as GSCP and GDMI to analyze sales forecasts and shipment plans.
• Track KPIs including SFA/Channel PSI Coverage rate, inventory metrics like Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and ageing stock, and identify problematic product models to enhance performance.
• Distribute weekly PSI KPI reports summarizing results and insights.
• Support S&OP meetings by providing statistical analyses of sell-through and channel stock data, facilitating discussions around pending action items with stakeholders, and reviewing overall forecasts.
• Manage End-of-Life (EOL) and New Product Introduction (NPI) products by monitoring PRM status and inventories.
• Regularly review long-term inventory and DIO to optimize inventory levels.
• Supervise shipment planning and monitor shortages to minimize supply disruptions and optimize stock.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics.
• At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, inventory planning, or order management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn quickly and function effectively as a team player.
