Demand Manager Account Operations (m/w/d)

Role overview

Join a team focused on enabling the Bundeswehr’s digital future through reliable IT operations and structured demand management. This position centers on coordinating incoming customer requirements, maintaining process transparency, and supporting operational and compliance-related workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Receive customer requests, log them properly, and carry out an initial review when new requirements come in.
• Steer the demand management workflow on an ongoing basis, including monitoring and updating the status of each demand.
• Check requirements for completeness and consistency and assess them from a coordination perspective.
• Contribute as part of the integrated requirements team (IAT).
• Work closely and transparently with senior management levels and the account managers.
• Help ensure compliance and support reporting capabilities.

Profile and requirements

• You should have completed a university degree or hold an equivalent qualification, along with at least 2 years of professional experience.
• Several years of experience in project management and practical knowledge in the IT environment are required.
• Familiarity with the organization and processes of the Bundeswehr, BAAINBw, and/or BMVg is an advantage.
• You bring strong communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to work well in a team, together with a pronounced focus on quality and results.
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing are needed, as well as very good English skills.
