About the Role

Join Arjo as a Delivery & Installer based in Christchurch, New Zealand, contributing to a company dedicated to improving the lives of people facing mobility challenges. This permanent, full-time position involves delivering, assembling, installing, collecting, and laundering medical equipment as part of our rental services. No prior clinical or medical background is needed, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out delivery, installation, assembly, and collection of medical equipment efficiently and with high customer service standards within scheduled timeframes.
• Use Rental Application and IT systems effectively according to company protocols.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, disinfected, and laundered following the company’s strict Equipment Cleaning, Decontamination, and Infection Control policies; Personal Protective Equipment will be supplied.
• Perform equipment testing and verification to confirm devices meet performance standards and are fit for use.
• Maintain adequate inventory in the company vehicle to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Fully install equipment and instruct customers on operational and emergency procedures.
• Identify and develop opportunities to expand business relationships and services.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with strong interpersonal skills to engage clients effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities and professional presentation, as you will represent the company.
• Good time management and logistical skills to meet delivery requirements efficiently.
• Physical fitness is important, as the role involves moving equipment (trolleys will be provided).
• Possession of a full valid driver’s license, since a company vehicle will be supplied.
• Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar delivery role is highly advantageous.
