Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and other products by car directly to customers' doors within designated delivery areas.
• Distribute flyers and door hangers as part of promotional efforts.
• Operate store equipment and prepare food products as required.
• Stock ingredients efficiently from delivery area to storage and prep areas.
• Drive safely while navigating various weather and terrain conditions.
• Walk and carry delivery items to customer locations, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
• Manage deliveries involving navigating stairs, sometimes five flights or more.

Job Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company safety standards.
• Access to a personally insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
• Basic navigational skills, including interpreting maps and locating addresses efficiently.
• Ability to use store communication equipment and computer systems for order processing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer and coworker interactions.
• Mathematical skills to perform quick calculations and make accurate monetary change.
• Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and handle bulk deliveries.
• Capability to work under varying work conditions, including exposure to temperature changes, food odors, and mechanical equipment.

Physical and Work Environment Demands

• Frequent standing and walking on tile and linoleum surfaces.
• Occasional sitting for administrative tasks.
• Handling and moving large products and supplies, including lifting cases of ingredients and pushing or pulling trays on dollies.
• Exposure to workplace hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp equipment, dust, and fumes.
• Must possess good near and far vision, night vision for driving, and ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
