Compensation and Schedule

Drivers earn an average of $20 per hour combining wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Tips and mileage are paid daily, while wages are disbursed every other Friday. Scheduling is adjustable to fit individual preferences.

Responsibilities

• Execute safe and timely delivery of pizza orders within designated areas, possibly covering multiple stops per shift.
• Transport deliveries from the store to customers, including navigating various terrains and buildings up to five flights of stairs.
• Maintain effective communication and utilize GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses accurately.
• Engage in physical activities such as walking, carrying, climbing, bending, reaching, and handling items essential for pizza delivery and preparation.
• Follow health and safety standards, company policies, and customer service protocols to provide outstanding service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle with current insurance if using personal transportation; eligibility to operate company vehicles requires a minimum two-year driving history and age 21 or above.
• Pass a background check and motor vehicle report review.
• Ability to read maps, follow directions, and work well independently and in a team.
• Capability to handle repetitive tasks, work under pressure, and meet strict quality and customer service standards.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to various weather conditions during deliveries.
• Temperature variations inside store environments ranging from coolers at 36°F to areas exceeding 90°F.
• Handling hot surfaces up to 500°F and working in confined spaces.
• Physical requirements include walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, reaching above and below shoulder level, and continuous hand coordination for pizza preparation and packaging.
