Role Summary
The position is focused on timely, safe delivery of orders from the store to customers. When driving isn’t needed, the role also includes helping the team with food preparation, cleaning, and answering customer calls.
Schedule and Hiring Details
- Immediate starts are available, with some hires able to begin within 24 hours after the interview, subject to background and motor vehicle record results.
- All shift types are available, including day, night, weekend, part-time, and full-time schedules.
- The schedule is described as flexible and suitable for students, people seeking side income, or anyone looking for extra earnings.
Compensation
This is a tipped position with a guaranteed base wage of $8.00 per hour. In addition to the base pay, drivers may receive customer tips, mileage reimbursement, and device reimbursement, bringing average earnings to roughly $15–$20 per hour.
Work Expectations
- Deliver customer orders safely and courteously from the store to the delivery location.
- Support the store team with food preparation, prep work, cleaning, and phone coverage when not on the road.
- Wear the required company uniform, including an approved hat, a company-approved tucked-in shirt, and black pants or non-faded black shorts.
- Work cooperatively with teammates and contribute to a positive store environment.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license held for more than one year is required.
- A clean driving record is required and will be checked.
- Applicants must have access to a clean, dependable, insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries, and they must be listed on the insurance policy.
- Strong navigation ability is important, including the use of maps and GPS, along with the ability to locate addresses and navigate multi-story buildings.
- Candidates should be friendly, positive, adaptable, and able to stay composed in challenging conditions, including bad weather.
