Debt Recovery Telecaller

About the Role

Cellnet Communications is looking for a dedicated Debt Recovery Telecaller to join our Collections/Debt Recovery team based in Swargate, Pune. This is a full-time position requiring a professional who can efficiently contact customers with delinquent accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure timely debt recovery while preserving positive customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Reach out to customers via phone calls to communicate about outstanding dues and payment obligations clearly and professionally.
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements following company policies.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customers meet their payment promises.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer communications, payment commitments, and collection efforts.
• Handle customer complaints and disputes with professionalism; escalate complex situations as necessary.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.
• Comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal collection procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve account-related issues.
• Prepare detailed collection reports and provide updates to management on recovery progress.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma, undergraduate degree, or equivalent educational background.
• Prior experience in debt collection, telecalling, customer service, or related fields is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and regional languages.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy with familiarity in CRM or collection management software.
• Ability to manage challenging conversations in a calm and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment and Terms

• Work performed in an office-based setting or remote telecalling environment.
• Rotational shifts may be required according to business demand.
• Performance-based incentives available in addition to the base salary.

Compensation
